SOCCO x East Coast Rippers Take Over Camp Woodward Week 5 with Jamie Foy

There’s nothing better than spending a week surrounded by skateboarding, good people, and the next generation of rippers.

One of the biggest highlights was watching Jamie Foy spend time with the campers. Whether he was helping someone drop in for the first time, offering tips on a new trick, or cheering on riders of every skill level, Jamie made every kid feel important. He wasn’t just there to skate—he was there to encourage, teach, and inspire. His patience, positive attitude, and genuine excitement for seeing the kids improve made a lasting impression on everyone at camp.

Throughout the week, we heard nothing but great feedback about the new SOCCO Shorty’s. The cushioned footbed, comfortable fit, and classic style made them an instant favorite, and it was awesome seeing so many riders wearing them all week long.

A huge thank you goes out to the East Coast Rippers team for creating such an unforgettable experience, to Jamie Foy for being an incredible role model, and to every camper who represented SOCCO throughout the week.

This summer, SOCCO was proud to partner with the East Coast Rippers during Week 5 at Camp Woodward, where we hooked up all 90+ riders with our newest Black & Gold Checkered Shorty’s and Striped Shorty’s. From the first day of camp, the socks were everywhere—on the ramps, in the bowls, around camp, and even during the evening activities. Seeing everyone rocking the new styles was an awesome reminder of what SOCCO is all about: quality gear built for skaters and a community that loves to ride together.

But the socks were only part of what made the week unforgettable.

The East Coast Rippers crew had an incredible lineup of perks, including a private skate session with Jamie Foy, a pizza party, and even go-kart racing. It was the perfect mix of progression on the board and making memories off of it.

Weeks like this remind us why we love supporting skateboarding and investing in the next generation of riders.

We can’t wait to be back at Camp Woodward next year—and we’ll be bringing even more socks.
