🚀 Role Overview

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be in charge of creating and executing social strategies across our core platforms. You’ll work closely with our creative director and be hands-on with everything from filming sessions to captioning reels to sparking community engagement.

🔧 What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow Socco’s presence on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & YouTube
  • Create and schedule engaging content (photos, reels, stories, shorts)
  • Collaborate with skaters, ambassadors, and photographers
  • Track analytics and optimize content performance
  • Attend skate sessions, events, and local content shoots (Wilmington + surrounding area)
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice rooted in skate and punk culture

✅ Requirements

  • Must live within driving distance of Wilmington, NC
  • 2+ years managing social media accounts professionally
  • Familiarity with skateboarding culture, history, and tone
  • Strong creative instincts: photo/video editing, storytelling, and engagement
  • Comfortable working both remotely and in-person as needed
