SOCCO78 STORY
Socco was born from a simple idea that took shape decades ago: make socks that could keep up with real life. The late ’70s laid the foundation, the ’80s brought attitude, and the ’90s cemented our place in skate, surf, and street culture. Long before performance became a buzzword, we were knitting durable, comfortable socks in the USA for people who demanded more from what they wore.
Through those eras, Socco became a constant in motion. Our socks showed up on skaters pushing cracked pavement, surfers chasing first light, musicians loading vans, and anyone who valued authenticity over trends. The stripes, fit, and feel were intentional—designed to work hard and look right whether you were skating a curb, playing a show, or just living life at full speed.
While styles evolved, our approach never did. We continue to manufacture our socks in the USA using premium cotton blends and time-tested knitting techniques that prioritize comfort, durability, and consistency. No shortcuts. No disposable quality. Just socks made the right way, built to last.
Today, Socco bridges generations. Our designs honor the roots of skateboarding and streetwear while staying relevant to the present, worn by legends, newcomers, and everyone in between. This isn’t nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake—it’s a legacy built on craft, culture, and staying true to who we’ve always been.
