SOCCO is honored to be a sponsor of the Annual US Open Adaptive Surfing Championships in Oceanside, CA. This amazing event, hosted by Stoke for Life Foundation and powered by The University of St Augustine, gives disabled athletes the opportunity to compete and highlight their incredible abilities by surfing with the best of the best. From September 26-29th, 85 athletes from 14 countries and 6 continents gathered at the south side of the pier in Oceanside, CA to compete in twelve different disabled divisions. Event Beach Marshall John Rich said, “The level of stoke from the event was insane, from the competitors in the water to the fans cheering from the beach. What a weekend!” SOCCO is stoked to be a part of something so special and can’t wait for next year!
